A one day class turning a small bowl
If you have more time available and would like to spend the day woodturning
Join Anna for a full day on an introduction to wood turning
Each class will have a maximum of three people
What will you learn?
Introduction to the lathe, selecting timber, turning chisels, sanding and oiling the timber
Learn the basics of spindle turning, face plate turning and hollowing out a bowl
Learn how to sharpen your chisels
Make your own small bowl to take away with you and a wine bottle stop

A two day wood turning & furniture making class
Make your own three legged stool/table or a pedestal table
If you have gained more confidence from a previous class. Join Anna on a two day woodturning class to learn more.
You will also learn basic furniture making skills and assemble your own stool/table.
Join Anna for two days of making
Each class will have a maximum of three people
What will you learn?
Introduction to the lathe, selecting timber, turning chisels, sanding and oiling the timber
Learn the basics of spindle and face plate turning
Learn how to make a three legged stool/table with wedge tenons
Alternatively, learn how to make a pedestal table spindle and base
Learn how to sharpen your chisels

Woodturning extra tutorial classes are for previous students that would like more guidance and advice
Continue your woodturning journey with Anna and gain your confidence to work on your own projects
Timber can be purchased on the day from Anna's stock or you can bring your own timber
Practice new skills with an extra day turning class.
Make your own project within limits of available materials and time constraints.
Designs discussed at beginning of the class.
Each class will have a maximum of 3 people.
