Introduction to the lathe, selecting timber, turning chisels, sanding and oiling the timber
Learn how to machine your timber and prep your table or stool components.
Learn the basics of spindle and face plate turning
Learn how to make a three legged pedestal Shaker table
Alternatively, learn how to make a four legged stool with woven hemp seat.
Learn how to sharpen your chisels
